What is bakuchiol?
In this article we tell you more about bakuchiol, but in summary, it is the fashionable active ingredient, known as vegan retinol. It has anti-inflammatory, sebum-regulating, soothing and antiseptic properties. It has a high antioxidant power, and helps the generation of collagen. It also evens out the tone and provides luminosity to the face. And the great advantage over retinol is that it is suitable for sensitive and reactive skin.
Where does bakuchiol come from?
This powerful active ingredient comes from traditional Chinese and Indian medicine, where it has been used for decades. It is an active ingredient of natural origin, which is obtained through an extraction process from the babchi plant or “Psoralea corylifolia”.
Can squalene be vegetal?
It is a natural organic compound, which is extracted from plant sources such as rice bran, wheat germ or olives. It helps give a light and silky touch to the cosmetic, in addition to promoting penetration and leaving a dry touch. Thanks to this ingredient, our eye contour is easily absorbed.
What are plant polysaccharides?
They are complex carbohydrates made up of a large number of simple sugars. Helps collagen synthesis. In cosmetics they are used to achieve an immediate and long-lasting lifting effect. It also reduces wrinkles. It is therefore a very powerful ingredient for anti-aging cosmetics.
What benefits does lemon essential oil have?
It has great antioxidant and calming power. It is also astringent, antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and healing. All of these features are highly appreciated for acne-prone skin, helping to cleanse the skin without irritating it or spreading pimple infections.
